{a walk through} Psalm 138

Psalm 138 via nadinewouldsay

Last night at community group, I tried something new for prayer time.

As we shared our prayer requests, I would immediately get someone to pray the Lord's Prayer over the request.

Because sometimes, I think, it's best to hop back to basics and trust that when Jesus said "this is how you should pray" that He actually knew what He was doing.

As we prayed the same prayer, over and over and over, I was amazed that the words really did apply.

They applied to the sister without work, the mourning of a co-worker's death, the desire for increased faith, the prayer for safe travel, the worries of the anxious and stressed.

If you are stuck and don't know what to pray, take a cue from JC.
