There's a difference between seeking beauty for the sake of beauty and seeking beauty for the sake of worship.
It's when I seek beauty for the sake of worship —worshiping God that is— that I find the thing that I am actual looking for.
When I seek the created things, I belittle the One who put them in there place. But! When I look to the Lord and ask him to show me the wonders that he placed here on this earth, it's then that I get to have a glimpse of glory.
All that to be said, I'm seeking to be done asking to see something beautiful for the sake of seeing something beautiful. I'm asking for glimpses of glory—for a taste of why God once upon a time called this earth good—for the sake of worshiping God alone.
